Ricard Pié wrote the article "El paisatge com a argument. La revisió del Pla general de Torroella de Montgrí", included in this publication of the Territory and Sustainability Departament. In this article he explained the main objective of this plan: the environmental balance between infrastructures, buildings, non-built soil and natural spaces, through a landscape strategy in order to turn the territory into the driving force that will promote and improve tourism.
